Special story to this piece below! Printed on C1S Tango Paper, size is 11x14 inches.

Tried something new with this piece by having the faun having an external glow, the same as the sky. This piece meant a lot to me and took forever to get down on canvas as I really took my time with the blending processes. This piece is called "Letting Go" because I have had to let pieces of myself fade into the wind to prepare what was coming left, which is and was a new life. She previously was speaking to Death in the form of a bird, and when the arrow struck, she knew it was time to leave her body to this world behind which is why she is accepting her fate and holding the arrow while soaking in nature she will be apart of just for one last time. I wanted to create this scene to be both sad and happy by allowing the background space to be filled with fields of flowers and trees with a beautiful sunrise. After all, life will still continue as it always has been, and it is her turn to become a part of the field of roses and sky above, death cannot exist without life.
